Hello, blogging world. Guess what I am back from holiday!
During this period of time (Where New Zealand had loss of money and jobs) people found it hard to find jobs in New Zealand and overseas. We were not the only people who were stressed and dealing with trouble. People living in the Great Plains in the USA, because they were hit with a giant drought which lasted most of the decade. Many farmers could not plant crops so they could give the food to their families, friends and would not be making any money.
Today's activity we have to imagine we were living in this period of stress and think, what would we do to help people and the families. We have to name three, so here is my three!
- To stop the people from suffering from the drought I would have so people who could work for me (People that were jobless) and bring over food to local community places to hand out. I would also lend money to the farmers.
- Another thing I would do is organise a fun run so people would donate and run for my charity for New Zealand jobless people called “Job Hut”.
- I would also try to influence people/ bosses to hand out more jobs to people, even if it was low paying.
