Writing Is Creative!

This term we have been creative for writing. We have made a google slide that we use the 1st 15 minutes of writing. We have a sentence starter and then from there we make a story. All the seniors have started this. Each week we have a new slide with 5 slides that all have different sentence starters.One of the slide is a reflection.We type what we have done,if we have completed our goal and if we have enjoyed it.

I think creative writing is really helpful because it is showing me how you can have a awesome story using different types of sentences and different types of story's.  The creative writing have boasted my skills at writing because you get to write anything for 75 minutes a week and we have been doing it for the last four weeks everyday.

I have chosen this one because this was the one I enjoyed writing the most and it also is the best.I hope you have enjoyed this blog post.Keep going

It Is 2017!

It is 2017.This is my 1st blog post for 2017.

In reading for the past week we have been reading a book called One small step.We have also been doing a slide to describe lots of space things (mostly based on the book.) Here is the slide

This is about Armstrong (Neil Armstrong), his teammates and Apollo 11.It was also about...The trip,The 1st step and the failures of the other tries.I love this story as well because it is simple but complex.

Whos the hacker

Aloha everybody today is my 2nd to last blog post of the year,One day in cyber smart we learned about board games and played James game.

What is a online board game?
It is when you play a board game online and you play it. Most of the time they are a single player game but they could try and find a family one.You know those math games you play online most of them are online and game but can they be online board games?

Why did we do this?
We did this because next year the new year fives (year fours this year.)Would have no idea what to do on a Chromebooks and how to keep safe so we made a fun way to learn all of that.We also did it because so other people can learn too i've showed my parents and now they do the rules all the time.

Thinking hats for...Alice in wonder land!

3 weeks ago we had our school production.Me and my friend,Ashana were head hogs.Our production was Alice in wonder land.After production finished we made some thinking hats to describe how we felt and everything 

What is a production?

A production is this like musical but for school kids.The middle and Junior did the songs,the senors act,dance,lighting and sound,music and backstage.Everyone does 3 of there primary at waikowhai unless they come to this school not from the start.

Why is it important to have thinking hats?

It is important because when your older you can look back at the photo and then the thinking hats and you might feel like your in the production again.

What happens next?

After the production we made a doc then we wrote some feeling and things about the production.We had to have 1 or 2 paragraph for each hat.After Mr Ricemen (our teacher) had a interview with us to see it was good.I was the 1st to have my interview and it went well.Straight after I went and drew my hats.I wrote all the writing on it after.
